We enter the MTC in Provo, Utah on July the 25th. So we have been "tripping." We left Sacramento on June 3rd (Audrey's Birthday). Of course it was an airplane trip. Sterling loves having places to fly. We flew to Corona and had a great time with Stephanie & family. The highlight being a train ride to San Juan Capistrano. There we enjoyed the Petting Zoo with train and play area. Then some time at the Mission. It was beautiful. Train travel was great. No seat belts the kids could move around and so could we. Thanks Steph, Leo, Diego & Mia. I must say I did get a bit teary eyed when it was time to say good-bye. We wont see them again till after our mission
Off to my sister Sally's. She was at the ranch near Sho Low AZ. Beautiful to be in the mountains. We took a trip to see Midge on the reservations. On the way we stopped at the Petrified Forrest and drove through the Painted Desert. Amazing.
Then to Kanosh to visit Sterlings family which included a Stevens family reunion. Sterling really enjoyed riding out on the desert and getting a tour of what was happening on the ranch.
After that it was to Salt Lake where Audrey pick us up. We had dinner with her, Leo & Melinda. We stayed with Deanna & Harold where Harold cooked us a dutch oven dinner. Tues the 13th we flew home. My only regret was that I forgot to take my camera, so no pictures.
Now I will see if I can actually post this.
