It is very calm here. Almost never even a light breeze. We have only seen the sun twice since we arrived.
Most Koreans do not speak English.
All the seats in the Temple are noticably shorter. (My feet touch the floor)
Some things are backwards. George Sister instead of Sister George. ( I should say: Georgey Sister.)Facuets that you push down to turn on. To take picture it is 3,2,1, instead of 1,2,3 etc.
Almost everyone has very black hair. Probably 95 % of women and 80% of men no matter the age have pitch black hair. It is kind of strange to see 70 + men with black hair and 1/2 in. grey roots.
Almost no wedding rings for women or men.
Basically no one crosses their legs when they sit.
It is more expensive than in the States to buy food etc.
A City of high rise buildings. When Sterling was here 50 years ago there was just one building that was more than 1 story.
24 Million people live in the greater Seoul area. That is more than 1/2 the population of Korea.
Many restrauents on every block.
Lots of young people.
Lots of young girls in very short skirts & shorts.
Lots of uneven block sidewalks.
Thankfully we can walk to get most anything we need.
You'll get used to things eventually :)
